I'm a newbie immigrant in this marvelous country (only 8 years living in the States) and I can't stop being amazed by the deteriorating process of the society and the economy.
Trying to better understand and studying America's history, I may presume that the greatness of this country was based on the moral values of the American people, specially those who had the chance to conduct it.
Remembering speeches from leaders of this country like President JFK; "Don't ask what your country can do for you, instead ask what you can do for your country" takes us to set the consciousness of these people in their adulthood, responsible and caring people who really want to make a difference.
In this moment of our lives we can't deny how this principle ran away from the general public, specially in Washington's people minds.
When you read news like:
* Everyone can sue anybody for any reason
* The moral values are not a standard anymore
* God is not important and is just a way of thinking
* Bankers, Manufacturers and rich people can get people's money through a "legal" process, and not assuming their lack of responsibility for their major mistakes
We know that we are in front of a process of financial/cultural/moral disaster.
We need to go back to the past principles that built this nation for the sake of all.
